Balloons, Bears and Ladders Quilt

Last week i finished a quick church donation quilt. I got the pattern from a magazine. Super easy. I did have a little trouble top quilting it. I couldn't come up with a design, so i did giant zig-zags. That should keep the batting in place.  I had a bunch of pieces leftover, so I started another one in the same style, but i repositioned the pieces differently. I'll post that one when it's done.  The photos aren't very good, but you get the idea. It was a fun quilt to put together fast! If anyone wants the pattern, I'll scan if if you ask.

Blue Whale Quilt

My little sis is having a baby! And every new baby needs a quilt, don't you think?

It's flannel on front with a ribbed super-soft fabric on back.Off to the next project.
